Fractora RF Microneedling is a combination of two robust cosmetic procedures, RF skin tightening and microneedling, that creates results not possible with any one treatment alone.
Fractora RF is a fractionated radiofrequency device that delivers thermal energy to stimulate collagen production below the epidermis or top layer of skin. It has been clinically established that heating the skin enables tissue manipulation which manifests as resurfacing or rejuvenation techniques affecting the superficial appearance. Thus, radiofrequency energy helps strengthen existing collagen and trigger new production. Skin tightens due to immediate contraction of collagen and collagen formation.

How Are The Side Effects?
Compared to laser-based cosmetic procedures, radiofrequency (especially Fractora) carries a smaller risk of treatment-related pigmentation. Reduced risk relates to the method of delivery. RF Microneedling can correct skin in adequate proportions by focusing mostly on the problem areas. In some cases with lasers, especially non-fractionated ones, you may risk unintended pigmentation.
Fractora RF Microneedling does carry some side effects. These include, but are not limited to, pain during procedure, transient pain, redness (erythema), swelling (edema), bruising and hyperpigmentation.* We cannot tell you how you will react, but we can advise you based on your current skin condition regarding the expected intensity and duration of the procedure. We recommend a few practices to ensure you have a comfortable, pleasant experience with Primary Aesthetic Skin Care. During the procedure, expect some pain. The pins will hurt as they press into your skin but don’t expect the pain to linger in any one spot.
